Groundbreaking for the Rocky Mountain Gardens & Exploration Center at the Missoula Fairgrounds
Nothing but blue skies and smiles for miles during the groundbreaking ceremony for the Rocky Mountain Gardens & Exploration Center at the Missoula Fairgrounds last Friday!
The Rocky Mountain Gardens & Exploration Center is the brainchild of the beautiful minds behind Missoula Butterfly House & Insectarium, Healthy Acres, Healthy Communities Foundation, and the Missoula Weed District.
The RMGEC, is poised to be a hot destination for people of all ages to discover our rural roots and inspire a fascination for the natural world. When completed, this premier center for scientific learning will house Montana’s FIRST EVER tropical butterfly house, 2.5 acres of educational gardens, demonstration kitchens, a greenhouse, plant lab, and classrooms galore!
So far, the ‘Join the Buzz’ campaign has raised $3 million of their $5 million goal and will continue their fundraising efforts as the building is completed. To learn more about the project and make a contribution check out https://jointhebuzzmissoula.org/! 🐝
Draught Works is proud to support the continued efforts and dreams of our dear friends Jen & Glenn Marangelo of the Missoula Butterfly House and Insectarium because we wholeheartedly believe in their mission to inspire connections with one another, as well as with the wild natural world that surrounds us, and that’s why we’ve chosen them as our Q2 Cheers for Charity recipient!
