Brewed in partnership with the UM Brew Program and supercharged by Hopsteiner’s cutting-edge hop innovations, Academic Weapon is a bold yet balanced Cascadian Dark Ale that redefines the standard. It pours dark and rich without the weight of heavy roast, thanks to a smooth malt base of Pale, Munich, Wheat, and de-bittered Black malts. This sets the stage for a hop-forward showcase where Cascade and Erebus deliver vibrant notes of pine, citrus, blueberry, and floral character. Enhanced with Salvo, Salvo Plus, and Lupulin pellets, the flavor builds in layers of deep, resinous intensity. Heavily hopped in the late kettle, whirlpool, and fermenter, it lands crisp, juicy, and dangerously drinkable—sharp, unrelenting, and made for those who never settle.
