Draught Works Partners with The Roxy Theater
In November of 2021, the Draught Works decision makers made a commitment to partner with and support a unique local non-profit that’s near and dear to us and to the community of Missoula.
The Roxy Theater is a Missoula-based non-profit with a mission to inspire, educate & engage audiences with the natural and industrial worlds through cinematic and cultural events. The Roxy hosts screenings and events seven days a week including new releases, independent, foreign and classic films, theater, and community events too! The Roxy’s passionate crew works diligently to merge community, cinema and education and we couldn’t be more grateful for everything they do for our city!
On Monday, February 21st at The Roxy, our owners, Jeff and Paul, had the honor and privilege of leading an educational discussion entitled To The Hip-Hip HOPS, all about HOPS after a screening of the film Brewmaster, as a part of Science on Screen, an education grant program launched in 2005 by The Coolidge Corner Theatre with support by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation that blends a WIDE variety of films with related presentations lead by notable experts.
Not only was the film outstanding and in many ways nostalgic, we truly enjoyed having the opportunity to nerd out with our community about what really lights our fire… HOPS! BIG thanks to Tammy, Fergie and the whole Roxy crew for ALL you do! We are SO PROUD to be partners with the Roxy rockstars and we are thrilled to be apart of the magic you bring to Missoula.
