Watson Children’s Shelter – Our Winter Cheers for Charity Recipient

Watson Children’s Shelter, our 2018 4th Quarter Cheers for Charity Recipient, is a safe haven for children in crisis. Dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing home for children across Montana who have experienced abuse, neglect, abandonment, or family crisis, Watson Children’s Shelter stands as a beacon of light for so many kids in need, and Draught Works is proud to support an organization that does so much for so many.

The staff at Watson Children’s Shelter are highly trained, and exceptionally passionate about providing unmatched care to the children at their facilities; some of whom have never been to school, never had their own bedroom or even a family meal. Many of the children that come to the Watson facilities arrive with only the clothes on their backs. Watson’s provides clothing, their own bedroom, a safe place for their things, rooms to play and craft in, space for learning and homework, healthy home-cooked meals, and so much more. Watson’s mission is to provide these children with everything needed to experience and enjoy childhood.

In early December, we had the opportunity to tour Watson’s, learn a bit more about their day to day operations, and why the need for funding is so crucial. This quarter, not only were we able to donate $2,000 to Watson Children’s Shelter, but with your help and participation in our Snowflake Challenge, we raised an additional $300!

Your continued support of our brewery allows our Cheers for Charity program to persist each year.  Each pint purchased helps us support local nonprofits in our community that are making waves, and positively impacting peoples lives.
